Well, this is obvious. Being a leader doesnt necessarily mean he'll get preferential treatment.

He has been with the team for very very long and with McLaren F1 for one year more than Heikki. So, he'll obviously know more abt the team, mechanics, car setup, etc... and he'll be teaching Heikki a lot. So, in that sense he is definitely the leader.
