Today is the first day of medal events in Olympics at Beijing.

The first Gold Medal was won by Katerina Emmons of Czech Republic in Women`s 10 m air rifle.

She was a bronze medalist in Athens and she improved here with specacular performance.

Defending champion Du Lin from china returned disappointed wiht fifth finish.

The way world athletes are performing i dont think India will have any medals in shooting.
