Migration of sportsmen from various fields for 'Greener Pastures' is a age old phenomenon. Recently the migration of Cricketers from SA/Zimbabwe to Australia/England a case in point.

So nothing surprising, just like professionals migrate for better job opportunities/perks/pay/lifestyle, there is no reason why sportsmen should not do the same.

Of course there would be those who would take pride in representing their country irrespective of other factors - but then numbers of such folks is getting lesser by the day.
