Re: help me choose a bike - Honda Shine, Suzuki Heat
thanks nikhil and sunny
yes the cost is a factor here. looking for something less that 49k
well i realy dont know what torque means. so i cudnt understand the technical aspect of ur information.
the news is that i took a test-drive for both Heat and Shine today.
1. Heat:
i love the look. seriously. i really like bikes with round dome/light. and everything else in heat looked great too(for me).
while driving, i couldnt sense power in the engine. i dont know how to put it in technical terms but it felt like it lacked the power to drag/push the bike forward. i have a lot of exp with splendor - with splendor i can really drag/push the bike forward with power by quickly raising the accelerator. but with heat, there was no push, the speed and power were like constant and steady. so if i want to overtake a bike to my side and go forward on its lane, i dont think i can do it with heat. with splendor, i can do it with command. i hope ur getting my point.
i wonder how bad this is. what d u think?
2. Shine:
well shine dint have the above problem. it had power. when i raise the accelerator more the engine pushes the bike forward with power. i can overtake other vehicles. basically a ride on shine was very good. more like a hero honda ride but a little better, there seems to be some improvements done by honda.
but there is a major problem i faced with shine. the tank in the front is too wide. so my legs had to be spread too wide apart bcos of that. it was not comfortable. especially for me who drove splendor for a long time. splendor has a thinner tank and it was pretty comfortable for the legs, i could open them apart or put them closer to each other to my comfort. but in shine, the legs have to always apart, that oo a little bit too apart. i sure have a feeling that il get leg and spine pain/probs with shine as i ride 30kms daily.
well thats the case
what im thinking right now:
may be Passion Plus is a good option? cos it has the power needed that seems to be missing in heat and hopefully doesnt have that wide front tank like shine.
on another thought, may be Heat is still a good choice cos it reduces chances of accidents as i cant overtake other vehicles? lol. and if it gives a good mileage it would serve my purpose.
im kind of confused.
pls help me
P.S: i also gave a ride on TVS Star City, just like that. it sucked. very bad.
