Sorry, I might be misunderstanding, you're not going for the 2.5 litre model, but the 2.0 litre unit?? Well, even if your looking at the low spec model, I'd still be inclined towards the mazda, Honda is just super expensive to maintain when services come around, (having said that, they do make a quality product), but mazda aren't that far behind...............

Personal choice mate, drive them both, see which one you fancy more... As cars, they're both pretty much lineball..
