Talking about snakes, I was watching a doco on Discovery last night, a south african man, living in America was bitten by an australian snake, (taipan, the acknowledged deadliest land snake in the world) on september the 11th 2001...... The only anti-venom available was in either New York, (out for obvious reasons) and San Diego....

It took the hospital 6 hours to convince the FAA to allow a plane to bring the required anti-venom from California to Miami, (because of the Bush generated order grounding all aircraft)....

Talk about lucky.............
