I am not willing to buy the argument that the fans are fickle minded. They are not. When you play as badly as this, you should expect a backlash.
Face it these guys are the richest and highest paid persons in India. This is a game, but its more than a game in India. When you get paid as much as you do, when you have a larger than life image and you enjoy it too, you owe it to the people to give your 100%. You don't do that, be ready to face the music and don't cry.
If this was a private company and the players were employees, all would be sacked. Its time India team realized that.
