manjrekar being a manager is like being a second dravind to join the company.
he was rock solid as batsmen but never showed any killer instincts, his running between the wickets was pathetic too and he does not command much respect.
First things first, a good coach should have a good cricketing knowledge, and manjrekar fits the bill. Agree he didn't suceed as a player, but remember Bob Woolmer, how many us know him as a player?
