And secondly, even 40 crores is not hte correct figure. It is a lot more. He makes a ton of money because he distributes the movie himself in many of the places.

He has a stake in the profits of the film. His remuneration is not like AB or SRK where they have a contract and are paid irrespective of it. Yes, there is a minimum amount guaranteed to him.... but most of his money is only if the film is a hit.

And it is guaranteed to be a HUUUGE hit. Because many many people watch his films 5-6 times. That is where he makes his money.

In the number of people watching his movie, it will be pretty less (compared to normal Hindi blockbusters). But people watch it over and over and over again.
