Need to bump this section a little.

I am planning a trip to Himachal Pradesh with family and friends.

We have selected one section of Shimla, Kullu, Manali.

May be a night at Timber Trail Heights at Parwanoo or Chandigarh.

This is still under consideration any places not to miss or to visit or to omit.

And most importantly Which Hotel / Resort to stay at Shimla and Manali, any personal experience and recommendation is most welcome.
