having said all that i will only say its pure jealousy on part of the others. No its not the money, its the reception that has soured them
But thats simply cos none of the others have acually won a world cup. And the other sports are not that popular(who watches billiards? imo the only thing i have watched myself is 9ball and sometimes snooker when ronnie,higgins and davis are around but its still not a game for mass consumption) Its downright foolish for these other sportsmen to make a hue and cry now. Imo tennis has been very popular(remember the old davis cup ties, it was a cricket like atmosphere) but not every sport is going to be popular and frankly if they are to be the indians have to show themselves at world level.
To the Indian team, as i said before, they are number one fools. T20 was a slogging game and partying 2 days before a Australia match is idiotic. Theya re forgetting the fact that public memory is very short in India. One loss and the same media will be gunning for their heads. A lot of players got away with it in20-20 due to short format, it ain't gonna happen now.
