Baja is an inter-college conducted by SAE (Society For Automotive Engineers ). The problem statement is to build an all terrain vehicle that uses the engine provided by organizers and not violate any of the rules. This is what we at National Institute of Technology, Karnatka built.
It's got a Lombardini 9 HP Engine. 4 Forward gears, 4 Reverse gears. Does 55kmph and its even got a decent mileage of 20-25 kmpl.. It's manuverability is it's plus point. very small turning radius.
