60 k is the strict limit? Push some 5k more nd u'd get some better bikes.

Also, mention ur priorities: Comfort, looks, style, power, handling etc.

Yeah, i rode Apache RPR 160, but it is pretty short. Nd ma height is also 6'2", so I'd surely be uncomfortable in riding the bike for more than 40 mins.

as per ur priorities, I'd suggest u go for Pulsar 180 DTSi.

PS: For me, comfort was the top priority, so went for CBZ Extreme. (Apache has that *uncle* kinda looks )

The pulsar will not suit him either then cos with its 17" wheels it is pretty low slung as well..it wont be any better than the RTR...
My suggestion wud be to try out the new hunk..it looks pretty muscular and the saddle height is good. It too is adequately powerful and since it has the same engine specs as the cbz xtreme, it'll be a sprightly performer too!
Apart from this, u can accomodate a Honda Unicorn Sport in ur budget too. It is very good 150cc contender and the smoothest of them all and it wud be my personal suggestion...
The Hunk's and CBZ extreme's engines are derived from the Unicorn engine, so u wont go wrong with any of these bikes as the engine is highly reliable...
I wudnt personally suggest u to go for Pulsar as the gear box is no match for a honda unicorn..It only gets worse with time..besides, it also has niggling issues with fit and finish, the plastic parts and long term performance !!
In the 60k range, the Honda Unicorn is prolly the best choice keeping in mind the ride quality, engine performance, mileage, long term life and resale value!!
Rest is upto u to choose.. Take a test ride of all the 150cc bikes..tht is the best way to decide!

^Thts why, i think the best option for him wud be the Unicorn Sport with all the bells n whistles..
In its new avatar it looks cool and with the gem of a honda engine and gear box, it'll be the smoothest pair of wheels on the road..

Believe me, after owning one for more than 2 years now, i'm so satisfied with the Uni, that i wud buy another one if i had to... Prolly the most reliable bike i ever had..(this is my 3rd after CBZ and Pulsar DTSI.. ) Cant say the same about the Pulsar dtsi..tht bike and its gear box was a nightmare..thank god, i got rid of it.. The friggin piece of junk didnt even fetch me good resale value.. Bajaj bikes usually never do.. Atleast i had got good value for the CBZ from a college friend..
As for the Uni, i'll not sell it..i dont see any reason why i shud.. It has been the perfect bike for me, good performance, mileage, high speed rideability, road holding, and long term reliability..it never let me down on the road..
The CBZ was a racy performer, but the mileage was a sore point and the engine was a bit rough..so it cant be a perfect machine according to me..
As for the pulsar, the less said the better, performance was good, but at the cost of a niggling gear box with tens of false neutrals every kilometer(and tht is no exaggeration),
mileage dropping steadily after a year or so, and it was not at all confidence inspiring at high speeds(u can blame the smaller wheelbase, but thr was more to it.. )
So, the Uni has been the jack of all trades for me.. It is racy and at the same time frugal and highly reliable..Earlier the looks were considered a sore point of the uni, and thts why, the college crowd werent a big fan of it, but now they have taken care of that too..
