Default which gearless scooter for me?

My Bajaj Legend has died on me today

it served me its life, barring few problems it was faithfull and liked it.

now i need to purhcase a gearless scooter.

i am not looking at any bikes so please refrain from suggesting it.

i need a gearless one because of a few reasons like:
i need space near legs for keeping my instruments when on an emergency visit.\
i need a vehicle which can be used by any member of family if the need be.

so my choice is limited to gearless scooter.

i already have one tvs scooty pep so not looking at that company.

the options i have shortlisted are

HH Pleasure
Suzuki Access.

definitely not looking at Honda Activa as its a gas guzzler and FE is vital in day to day operations.

HH pleasure carries IIRC the same enging as Activa except tuned for FE.

I am sceptical about suzuki access as there is small number of units out on road if company withdraws it service support may be a problem.

How is new aviator?

keep suggestin guys and be fast as i may need to purchase it quickly.

The Honda Activa. Period.

One of the best scoots in the market.And still selling like hotcakes...thts the testimony to its proven reliablity and long term performance. And its all pure metal.. Those pleasures and blaze of this world are all fibre bodied...they soon start giving squeaks from every part of the bike..And its a misconception tht its a gas guzzler. it gives around 45 kmpl on road..you wont get any better from pleasure or suzuki access...

Activa is my suggestion.

Aviator,Dio,Pleasure and activa all have the same 102.cc engine,difference lies in price and most scoots are sort of guzzlers(40~45kmpl)....don't expect bike link mileage from these scoots.IMHO,activa or dio any day,reliable,smooth,etc,etc and its a honda

The aviator looks so crappy...yuck... dio is crap too.. I somehow still love the clean lines of the activa the most.. A black Activa looks awesome..

^^ no doubt activa is awesome ...and in the long run it turns out to better..and stays faithful unlike the Kinetic Nova i bought 3-4 yrs back....in the starting everything was good..but now its turning junk ..
made a wrong decision by not perusing my dad to get activa .

I'd prefer the newer scooters with telescopic front suspension, namely the aviator, flyte and access. Have ridden a Kinetic honda for 8 years, i know how crappy the front suspension is these 3 scooters willl be miiiles ahead!

Doc, take a test ride on the flyte. heard its very good. Better take a test ride and decide, afterall its you who will be riding it IMHO, all scooters are almost the same, except for small differences only you can figure out when test riding.

@faheem
have already gone through that thread on tbhp and also a few on xbhp.

sunny yes everybody on tbhp and xbhp are hooting for flyte but apparently it looks girlish and front fuelling is convenient but will increase chances of fuel theft which is quite common in areas i need to comute daily.

so the options are aviator / access / pleasure / flyte and outsider activa

@PR
my two doctor collegues have activa and hardly any one in my circle gets FE beyond 30 kmpl.

i am not looking at bike kind of FE from geerless scooters but decent 45 kmpl in city conditions is acceptable.

will TD aviator / flyte / access / pleasure then report here.

Hey medpal I was riding an Activa for 2 years and it was giving me an Avg of around 45-48 under cool riding(around 40-60kmph). As far as i See it's the best gear less Scooter. FE of 30Kmpl??? However rash(60-80kmph) i was riding it gave me 40+, think your Colleagues have ill maintained the bike
That scooter just ask for a oil change on time nothing more..
I go with Activa
