turbo lag = Rev range from start to the point where point turbo starts working.

hehe i think jeremy clarkson or somone gave a really good explanation for this.. said its the excitement a mazda driver feels on accelerating away from a ferrari or some car at the traffic signal and then the emotion of seeing it disappear once the turbo kicks in

the way he said it was better though

this was abt the F40 i believe

he tried the turbo-lag one on the old bugattis with the twin turbo...have that video somewhere...was gr8...50-51 miles, then suddenly 100 as turbo kicks in
