To be honest, even i have stopped visiting XBhp and i used to visit it from the very start albeit just as a viewer.
But i don't understand the point of the blogger, basically his tirade starts from the very top Sunny/Bunny etc. Then he goes onto mock the stats of the community, 26k users but how many are active etc. Then as a nail in the coffin he basically calls 90% of the community as nutcases, 8% as wannabe nutcases and the remaining 2% including himself as enlightened ones.
The problem with this thinking is that, he does not back it up with facts. And he is not taking into account the fact that as the community grows you are bound to get folks from various backgrounds and with motley of needs.
All cannot be hardcore modders or daredevils or enlightened ones. Thats why those newbies need to be guided - but who will guide them, the onus goes to staff, senior members and enlightened ones.
Maybe the blogger feels he is being sidelined or he is not getting due recognition or he is better off starting his own hardcore biking forum.
XBhp has grown considerably and i think Sunny has done a wonderful job, he has got a lot of sponsors and corporates onboard. The basic awareness among Indian youth towards Bikes/Accessories/Safety gear/Addons/Driving tips/Care/Maintenance has increased considerably after the site's inception. Finally, you just can't ignore the Meets, the road trips etc. They did bring all the bikers under one roof from Bullets to RD's to Superbikes. It was a great experience reading all those articles.
I would rate XBhp as the site that revolutionized the Biking community in India and that is no mean achievement.
About Posers/Fakers why blame the site - its the members, its the thinking in todays youth which is ingrained and refuses to change. That site is only reflecting the trend the among the youth and the society they are living in.
All in all - i found that blog a bit demeaning which only showcasess a myopic viewpoint. And i also find the blogger using a proxy id to put his view across as unethical.
If the blogger has genuine grievances it would have been best to deal it on XBhp itself.
Disclaimer: No offense meant to the blogger or the thread starter, and no i am not in any way associated with running of XBhp.
PS: And yes maybe this is my narrow view point too
