ok i have read only one of them to be frank, although i have heard of others.
Paulo Coelho is an extremely good writer(if you read the alchemist, you would know) The present novel though deals with a bit of an adult theme(prostitution) and of human sexuality. Not exactly a super novel.
Men from mars: Heard of this one too many times. Never read it (i guess its more heard of due to its acceptance into common literature as it is). No idea about the topic other than its more of a self help book
Amazon.com: Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus: A Practical Guide for Improving Communication and Getting What You Want in Your Relationships: Books: John Gray
Scoop is a good read if you enjoy history. I just got the newer one by Ramachandra Guha and well if you like the genre you will enjoy this. It deals with the subcontinental issues that have shaped our present.
Among the lot, Sagarika Ghosh's novel is the best(i haven't read it though)
Synopsis of the novel
When Mia, acutely depressed by the suicide of her father, meets Karna, a young Indian guru who seems to have walked straight out of her father’s painting of the Kumbh Mela, she feels compelled to follow him all the way from London to India. And if marrying Vik, the suave corporate, will help her reach him, then so be it ... In India, Mia hears of Indi, Vik’s accomplished, inordinately attractive mother who cannot cease raging against the limits imposed on her, by her blindness, her beauty, and her clinging son. To make sense of Indi’s anguished attempts to break free, and her own journey chasing a duplicitous love, Mia must travel to the Kumbha, to the heart of her father’s painting, where life, she learns, allows another perspective…
Sagarika Ghosh btw is the news presenter on cnnibn and lesser known fact is that she is wife of rajdeep sardesai.

Re: Current Good Reads..??
you need to tell some genre
i mean there can be good books on an subject
eg: RFID system design is a very good book
on a serious note
look at this book, Ruskin Bond Omnibus. Its been just released. Am gonna grab it. Actually any book by Ruskin Bond is good. There is one where he tells of his life(i forgot the name) and its a fascinating read.

Re: Current Good Reads..??
wanna read political or non political.
political(punjab crisis)
The Searching Eye - Gurdev Grewal. Its an eye opener frankly. The book examines, in my opinion, for the first time in this much detail the problems that led to extremism in Punjab and concequent developments.
Otherwise
The Case of Bonsai Manager - Gopalakrishnan (ED Tata Sons)
I have not finished this but a brilliant book and seriously good one if you love management.
