Bipasha to host World Wonders show
New Delhi: Come July 7 and Bollywood siren Bipasha Basu will sizzle on stage to host the global show on the New Seven Wonders of World in Lisbon.
Along with Academy-award winners Hillary Swank and Ben Kingsley, Bipasha will declare the New Seven Wonders, which for the very first time, would have been chosen through a global election.
The show to be held at the Benfica Stadium will see star performances by pop star Jennifer Lopez, American singer Chaka Khan, Italian singer Alessandro Safina and Spanish ballet dancer Joaquin Cortes and among others.
Bipasha, meanwhile, can barely contain her excitement at being asked to host the show. “It is such an honour. I have never ever hosted any show because I have always been very reluctant to wear contact lenses since I have bad eyesight. But to host something like this is a huge honour. It’s like being a part of history,” she was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
