it was not that bad a movie and frankly i don't care two hoots about the oscars anyway. FilmFare and IIFA are the Indian awards. Win them and be happy.

I think selecting eklavya was as bas as selecting paheli for oscars. To be fair i haven't seen the movie, but the kind of reviews i have read by the film critics themselves, i think Chak de India would have been a better choice.

I agree....but here, I am not concerned abt the OSCARS. I just feel angry that a jury comprising of "intelligent people from the industry" picked this movie over others.
I didnt like this movie at all !! I wonder on what basis tthey picked it.

I'm telling you man .. Chak De India is an ordinary movie and as someone already said, its a total copy of Miracle. It shouldn't go at all.
