Anyone of you using the Zee's DTH services. Now even TATA Sky has joined in and usually i will trust tata star combo more to deliver quality content

Anyone among you using this. Hows the service and reception esp during rains. and ofcourse the costing plans

i use dishtv...pretty gud...only reception gets cut during heavy showers!!!!

thats the main thing, if the reception is gonna go down in rains whats the whole point? How much rains does it take for it to go down.

it takes heavy to very heavy showers 4 it 2 go down.....but some channels like star sports keep on broadcasting widout ne problems during da showers...

Tata Sky will need some time to catch up with DishTV as they are the established and senior player now. DishTV broadcasts aroud 130 channels as of now with only notable and obvious exception being the star network. The pricing doesn't look very good to me...my cable operator is better in that sense.

well dunno abouit that, cable ops here are charging 300bucks these days for virtually the same number of channels

These DTH services.... I want to know a few things...

If I take a DTH service from one company, will I get ALL channels ?? Like in sports I want ESPN-Star, Ten sports, Zee sports, everything.....

And ALL channels.... from Zee network, Sony, Star, everything....

dishtv has won a ruling from TDSAT recently so its airing all sony tv channels atleast(not sure about star). Tata sky hasn't mentioned about zee. Although all of them air the sports channels

Another thing unlike cable where I just need some cable & perhaps a booster to hook upto another TV, in this I can't do anything like tht. Unless entry prices crash I don't see many people jumping onto it.

well dish tv has started airing all star channels also... ..
