Till date one of the things the Indian community in UK used to boast was that irrespective of so many terror attacks, no Indian was every found involved in any of them. This inspite of there being manuy Indians of the community which had been blamed for the attacks. That flaunting however has gone up in smoke thanks to the failed terror bids in UK.

Well problem is its still the same community and at the risk of trading on the boundary, i think someone now needs to address whats wrong with Islam. See whats happening in Pakistan right now for example.

What is wrong is lack of flexibility i nIslam, the control being in hand of some Hardcore Mullahs and illiteracy... They shud learn to accept new things. No offense to anyone, but I believe they need to accept we are advancing and stop pulling the followers in 18th century...

Misusing Jihad?
Thats a very small part of the problem. Look at the bigger issue(as sandeep said) There is this mentality of universal brotherhood and religion over nation in Islam. I am not saying it. Just recently a top cleric was interviewed on HardTalk and when asked whether he considers himself british first and then Muslim, he flatly said that no he is muslim first and that anywhere in the World irrespective of country, his sympathies lie with the Muslims and not with his country.

I don't believe this logic. Its unique to this religion. eg take Nepal and Hinduism. If suppose we are to make this kind of statement(and i remember Madhuri Dikshit way back in 90's did say that India and Nepal are same, all hindus) we had riots in Nepal over the topic. Your sympathies should lie with your country first.
