Btw, I'm a neutral fella here... I'm not a fan of JKR, not by a long shot, and neither am i a follower of any religious festivals...

God..u know n i know tht i'm not an atheist..but i dont want to believe in all these religious festivals either. I believe that God is too divine a soul to need any kind of appeasement from human beings in the form of all these poojas and festivals. If god needed any favor from human beings, then there wud have been no difference between god and humans...

BTW all the legal issues aside.. just out of curiosity, whats a Hogwarts castle doing at a religious fest ?

They come up with such themed pandals every year.. Last year i think it was the Taj mahal... Saw it on some news channel...

But Hogwarts does seem to be a peculiar choice since its supposed to be a School of witch craft and wizardry, both of which is considered evil by ppl thru ages. So having a pandal themed around a witch craft and wizardry school is weird...

The worst thing tht cud happen now is dressing up the deities as hari puttar, Albus dumbledore, Minerva mcgonagall, snape, Rubius hagrid etc.

I Regret putting this thread ,this is NOT the Place & response it deserved!...To me being a True blooded Bengali, Durga Puja has a Deep Religious sentiments.........& any untowards comments about Durga Puja & its festivities,without knowing the Ground sentiments ,i cant take it lightly(seriously)least in any of my Good taste, &..it gets me Really Cracking!
