Safin
Low cast people get back their fee as stiffened when they complete the graduation or school. This is really good i am happy to hear that. But do you think that all low cast people are really poor? Same way in the time being if you check not every high class caste people is not so rich in financial.

re: OBC Quota and reservation policy
I would say if OBC quota was there before getting independence then its a fair decision because at that time they are really in need as we know. But now the caste system has gone fully then why again for a quota. Most of the things are just a political game. The more the majority they stand with it. ****in govt created a law not to speak about caste or religious.. Now again raised? where will the qualified candidates go. If this is the situation India will remain under developed for another ten twenty years. I still do remeber that two of my class mates one was OBC and another was General. The OBC guys dad is working in passport and he owns one Benz, Scopio and four flats in the city.. Just imagine the worth of asset the guy has. This guy was poor in studies and did hardly passed the school. But the general guy had 70% he didnt come through because he was general and the other guy who just scored below 50% got in. See i am not saying this in every case but this happens in most of the cases man.. this really sucks a lot. Why always people create difference between human it self. Every humans in the world are same. They speak talk eat run jump and do everything what ever a human does. Now for what and whose ****in is this quota. I really do understand my words not gonna help to stop this ***** OBC quota. I AM NOT AGAINST TO ANY QUOTA, BUT THE QUOTA SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE. THERE ARE LOT MANY PEOPLE IN THE WORLD WHO HARDLY EAT ANYTHING AND SPEND LOT MANY FOR THEIR EDUCATION. PROVIDE THE QUOTA FOR THEM AND NOT TO THE ****IN OBC. BULL SHIT GOVERNMENT TRY TO MAKE SOME PAIN IN YOUR ASS AND START SEARCHING THE RIGHT PEOPLE AND NOT YOUR DAD'S OBC.
guyz i am really sorry for my words. The above given words are from my heart and just went through some emotional due to my past experiences. I speak from my heart and do from my brain.
Sorry again..

wah so we are not deserving
What have we the general category guys done. ALl time merit rankers, and people get the backdoor entry. Agnel that story is one exception. Look at the people around you getting reservations. Do you think they deserve it? (OBC especially)

re: OBC Quota and reservation policy
hey yeah what safin was trying to say is true. That's the main problem. Govt can give merit or quota if the person deserves, where he has the quality and when his whole family is need of money. For eg: If a person who is getting above Rs 10000 salary that is who is paying income tax and is OBC should not be given any quota. Thats really above the poverty line.

re: OBC Quota and reservation policy
What the SC now says... just look in this matter,
it asks, RESERVATION SHOULD GIVE to OBC only on creamy layer basis.
every one should know that ...MERIT definition... to get the higher marks is not only the criteria...
just look the students socio economic envoirment also.
so, my version is that ... Reservation should give... only on creamy layer basis

re: OBC Quota and reservation policy
HC stays OBC reservation in IIM-Calcutta
In a jolt to the campaign for reservations for other backward classes (OBCs), the Calcutta High Court today stayed the implementation of OBC quota in post-graduate courses in Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
Justice Maharaj Sinha ordered the stay on a petition by Sayan Guha, a B-Tech student, challenging the human resource development (HRD) ministry's memorandum for implementing the quota. Interviews for the OBC seats are scheduled for tomorrow.
The interim order stayed till June 9 the operation of the reservation clause in the institute's prospectus as well as the resolution of the office memorandum, dated April 20, 2008, passed by the HRD ministry. The matter would come up for hearing on June 9.
Guha's counsels, Kishore Dutta and Nilava Bandopadhyay, told the court that the memorandum and the subsequent reservation clause were a violation of the April 10 Supreme Court order defining the creamy layer among OBCs that would not get the reservation benefit. They said while the Supreme Court had directed that graduates would not be considered for the benefit, the memorandum said all OBC students would be entitled to reservation in post-graduate courses.
No counsel appeared for the HRD ministry and IIM-C.
In a related development, the Delhi High Court issued a notice to the Centre on a petition challenging the implementation of 27 per cent quota for OBCs in IIMs and other central higher educational institutions.
A Bench headed by Justice TS Thakur sought the Centre's response on the petition within four weeks and posted the matter for hearing on July 10.
An alumni association of IIMs had approached the high court seeking to restrain the Centre from providing quota to OBC students in institutes of higher learning.
The association said the government misinterpreted the Supreme Court judgment upholding the OBC reservation policy which said the quota would not be applicable to higher educational institutions.
The petition, filed by the Pan-IIM Alumni Association, sought a stay on the HRD ministry's office memorandum, issued on April 20.
HRD Minister Arjun Singh said the Calcutta High Court order would not affect the implementation of the quota in other institutes of higher learning.
"The ministry will put forth its views before the high court. The stay may delay the quota implementation in IIM, Calcutta, but it will not affect the process in other institutions," Singh said.
The government has gone to the supreme court in the last few minutes as i post this challenging the order of the high court.
