@PR, i did take the time to read your story too All is fine but you have to be forceful also. In life, in anything, my simple philosophy is that if you are doing half as many compromises than what are really needed, then you need to re-evaluate what you are doing with it.

Your life is not meant to be lived by others, even by people close to you, you are an individual(you ofcourse is a generalization) and at the end what matters is that the other person(s) respects that too.

Compromises, one way, don't work out. They are at best a sign of weakness. People take you for granted
