The experience of falling in love is amazing. It’s almost reviteliser.

I remember the first time I met Him, a trainee pilot. Many obstacles occurred on our way. But we are madly in love & obstinate. We continued, Love gives us the strength to carry on. Frankly speaking we never thought about it. Destiny gave us the extreme support and silently showed us the way to go ahead in life. As we are from the same carrier field, we always feel that there is a thrill of competition against your own life.

When we are happy, life is easier to deal with & it's not less interesting. It’s definitely challenging and exciting. Our relationship has always been wonderful, but it grows and gets better. We definitely want to set a good example for each other. We want to be practical, proportionate & logical rather than happy. It’s not an effort to really do the right thing.

There are choices that you've to make in life and we are lucky enough to be able to have the life that we have.

We met in Temple, He was curious eyed, & I was apprehensive. We shared a day & got to know each other well

through the last 7 years. Before that technology was the only hope and support for us. Time has taught us to enjoy our differences. Successful marriage requires falling’ in love many times & always with the same person.
One common Question we always faced “did u people get to know each other through Internet?” Just a single SMS and we clicked with each other.
It was a sweet message describing life’s situation and relativity towards God and human mind. We always feel our self highly Blessed by God as everything in-between us 1st started with the name of God. We met in Radha Partha Sarathi Temple, Delhi.

After that there was no looking back. Delhi became our second home. But we are too sensible about Patiala as we spent most of our sweet Memories over there. Despite the Hectic schedule, managing business, Hospital and Flying He tries to spend as much time as he can at home. Kitchen is the favorite and appropriate place for us to chitchat and discuss anything serious while cooking.

Outing is the most tiring thing for us. We feel perfect at home. People can consider us lazy for that. Although separately both of us were having our busy life running with our businesses but for the last two years life became very much unpredictable for us. Every time we are packing our luggage before we know anything. That’s what we feel---God’s Grace.

Some times people think we are college friends or colleagues as we both are from Aviation line (only common background in between us). But we met after my passing out of Aeronautical Engineering and he was doing his night Flying and IR check at that time.
Our friends and neighbors call us 'Chipkoos'. Yet we are two individuals & there are times when we are not willing to bow down to each other’s demands. We always spent our times enjoying with peace; fun, playing chess even fighting. We are in love with 'Chess'-that’s a great common factor on us.

I consider him exclusive in everyway! In the way he thinks, his personality, the way he behaves, talks. He is mentally very phisticated. He is also a loner by nature. Even in parties you'll see him walking alone. He is emotional about his past, his Wife but not very much demonstrative. He hardly remembers B'days & doesn't care if no one remembers his! The only thing he is craving for is ideas. He feels good in the company of an intelligent woman rather than beautiful. He is not extremely optimistic like me. But as soon as he gets up in the morning & start brushing teeth, it's another day for him.

He is an incredibly warm person, one who can make u feel wanted. And it was this warmth he executed which drew me towards him when we 1st met in Delhi & specially at the moment when he was in the airport to see off. Over the years I’ve known him, he has retained the rare quality. I can never forget the time when I had became irritable & demanding just in last December that I would throw tantrums over the smallest things. And despite being a short-tempered person himself, He never once lost his cool. He is so true to his duties as a Life partner.

His biggest problem is Dinner. He has to have proper & simple Dinner & even though I do my best in serving him Daal, chawal, roti, sabji till today he is not satisfied with my choice. When he is angry for it he keeps himself quite & I m the one who gets after him prodding him to say something. He looks after My Looks while I'm in complete control of his wardrobe.

According to Him, I'm the Vidushak around Him, who can never let him feel anything bad happening around - thats the best compliments I ever had.

'Chess'-the 64 black & white squares -- a very individual game; No one is answerable to anyone. One can play with single-minded obsession. It can spoil u. Like I don't think I can even work for a boss now anymore. No doubt that's the reason why He also likes only this game. A year back he started playing with me without Queen for few days. Now he admits that the Queen is important both on the Chessboard as well as in real life. Clearly now he is a Neo-man, one who believes in a 'u-me' equation rather than the 'Me-Me' one.

The days we spent with each other are ecstasy. Each day we live together, it is like heaven. Love is such a sweet feeling.
Life has come full circle for us; we are in blissful state. We are happy, things just turned well for us. To us being cool is about being responsible, not only for yourself but also for all those you are related with.

We learnt to live with attitude, differences, prejudices and idiosyncrasies, even laugh at them. So many memories of years that drew together two different people, two different cultures one from hard core Maratha Family and other from in a lovely relationship cherished through years.

We don't Believe in the concept of Let's do something new. Some different passions are always driving us. Right now we are busy dealing with Aviation. Aviation was always an interesting and hobby subject for us. Just having a glance of Voyager Incorporation in the sky will be the ultimate Dream come true of our life. What's the big deal when a Pilot and an Engineer is having a joint venture!!!

You told me that day, that yours would probably be the most boring story of all.Well,its not a story,first..its the truth of your life.

And,secondly, i confess, i wasnt bored at all. In fact,i would say,its good to see you two so happy with each other,after all these years.Yours is an example how a love marriage can be so satisfying and full of happiness,while many around us would try their best to brainwash us into believing that love marriages never work.Anyways,to hell with pessimists. While they would keep bickering at the thousands of things that can go wrong,at the end of the day, its the love between the two,that matters. The world and its pathetic ideologies can go to hell.

I agree, no two people are the same, but when you are in a relationship, its the 'we' that matters more than 'you and i'... Clashing egos, stubbornness, and an uncompromising attitude only makes a relationship unsatisfactory, that'd rather be sweet,full of love and long lasting. I agree, there are times, when its hard for both to reach a common conclusion, but it is at such times, atleast one(of the two) has to be compromising enough to accommodate and respect the views of the other. There is no place for ego clashes in a happy marriage. When you call your spouse, your 'other half', having egos is like fighting with a part of your own,isnt it?

And yes, one more thing, though money is important to survive in this world, in a relationship, its the love that matters more than anything else.Being satisfied and being proud of your partner's achievements is what matters more than money.When you start believing that your better half is your home, then being in a hut,or an apartment or a mansion or even a palace doesnt matter at all.Home is where your heart is.

And finally, recently the Supreme court handed out a landmark verdict in a divorce case.It was in the TOI. The judge said, "To all the married men,the key to a happy marriage is to never question 'her' authority.Do what she says, and be happy."

And i concur as well.

Though i'm still not married, but yeah, being in a relationship, i have full faith in my woman. To me,she is ALWAYS right.And i'm proud of her.

Many would say,its like being 'Joru ka ghulaam' (Slave of your wife)..but its not so. If your better half truly loves you and understands you, she will never take undue advantage of you.
