It was 10th November 2009, Tuesday, FE had successfully completed its 3rd year anniversary and Safin had sponsored the members of FE on a Star Cruise to Thailand from Mumbai for the success of FE. All members of FE were so excited for the cruise, as we would be meeting everyone for the first time and that too on an experience to remember. All because of the Great Safin

The cruise’s tickets were booked and all the tickets were to be given on the time of leaving. Ronaldo & Ayesha were not allowed by their parents for this trip . Agnel has joined us from US, Patchie and Honeybee couldn’t join us due to their busy schedule. I too was very keen on meeting everyone finally. All this time we were discussing Maldives plan and what not, but this time Safin had to take a bow for sponsoring the FE’s cruise. Uni also could not come due to her Daughter Shikha as she had school, whereas Sandeep(aka Dogbert) who was recently laid off from AMDOCS was busy guzzling beers, but he alongwith, Bluffy, Heathcliff, Yamaraj, Lokesh, and Medpal were all gonna come to Gateway of India on the Cruise date. I had arrived from Abu Dhabi 3 days before the cruise. I invited my Wife, but she refused to come, as she was expecting. Yeah! Feeling of becoming a Dad was out of this world . I, Blade, Brunnie & Aero were supposed to arrive together @ the meeting spot. Ryan and Knoughty were also meant to arrive together from Navi Mumbai .

So everyone was there at Gateway of India on 10th November 2009, and Safin standing at the very entrance like a ticket collector to distribute each one their tickets. Everyone was greeting each other. We all were so thrilled to meet that we spend an hour greeting each other and also sad that many couldn’t join us & then Safin did a BIG to walk us all aboard the Cruiser. It was total chaos on the Shores of Gateway of India, as FEzens boarded the cruise. The captain showed us our rooms on the cruise. I was sharing the room with Blade, as we both had brought our gaming gear along My neighbor was one, Mr. Saiyan, he was a scientist and was visiting Thailand for his research. We happened to cross each others path while I was going out and he was checking into his room. He looked like a penguin, a round belly and pointed nose, pants were cleaved to his suspenders. He had a huge man-sized suitcase with him. He rarely used to come out, but strange noises were being heard from his room. Which me and blade used to joke about, he might be genetically modifying his body to fit into his tight pants.

We all met at the Upper Deck after changing into our casual clothes, as Safin had planned a special dinner for us. We all were so engrossed in talking to each other & cracking jokes about Safin & Yammy’s Sauna, Agnel’s mode and my “hmm…” comments and Honeybee’s Smileys. Ryan was the bakra for every joke was cracked on him, about his Sasur (FIL) being owner of VSNL and providing him a lavish office to rest in One Hour through and the waiter arrived with more food to be eaten, where we haven’t even started off yet. After Dinner, we had the upper deck booked for us to play regular TP games, like antakshari and Dum Sharaz. We divided into two groups and my team was winning against Safin’s team

We all fell asleep on the deck itself as the members who had travelled from long distance were tired, we escorted each other to each’s room @ around 3am in the morning, as it was pitch black outside and only few lights were kept on, on the Deck. As me & Bladey were about to enter our room, we heard a shriek from Saiyan’s room, we were terrified of that voice as it was shrill and piercing our ears. We went to our rooms quickly and tucked under the pillow to reduce the shrieking voice.

Next Day 11th November 2009, Wednesday, Ryan was the first one to wake up everyone from their rooms for the breakfast , Yammy hated that and slept again. Bluffy was munching his Bread Jam and Medpal was enjoying his Milk Shake. Agnel was off to do his Yoga on the Upper Deck, so that no one shud see him doing it. Knoughty was drinking milk, Heathcliff was drinking tea, I was having bacons, where lokesh was still waiting for his Half Fried Egg to be ready. Safin was as usual sipping on Orange Juice, Blade digging himself into heap of Brown Cakes. Sandeep was looking pale and looked like he needed more sleep. Everyone was busy having their breakfast, as we had a long day ahead of us. Few boys were planning to hit the pool as only HC & Aero were ready to join us in it. Others were interested in roaming around the Cruise, so we cancelled the plans of Pool and took off to roaming, or u can say window shopping on the cruise

We had our lunch at FuddRuckers, by that time yammy joined us, I asked yammy, where was he till this time, he dodged the question by starting a conversation with Heathcliff and started eating his lunch. He was looking as fatigued and sounding very low. I grew suspicious of his activities. But my attention was diverted by Ryan’s singing, what a terrible voice it was . We were full after a heavy lunch and wanted to cool it off on pool side. Girls went to their rooms to rest as we boys were on the pool side. Sandeep informed he needed some rest, so he too left for his room. As the sun was setting down, we called all the girls to come and enjoy the view. It was gorgeous and dazzling to see the Sun Set from the cruise, many of us were dreaming about striking a Titanic Pose with their wives/love of their lives

Our evening was special, as we had booked our seats at the theatre on the lower deck of the cruise. Everyone was enjoying the show, as it was fun filled and interesting. The performance was so enthralling that we never knew when 4 hours went by. We had our dinner at our own tables while watching the performance. We all went back tired to our beds that night, as it had been a hectic day for us, though Me, Agnel and Lokesh thought of roaming on the Deck for while. As we were on outer Deck, discussing our lives and career, we suddenly heard a noise coming from below us. It was like someone was pushing against something, the constant THUD on doors below was disturbing us, we immediately went to he patrol officer on the Deck and reported him to check what was under the outer deck. He informed us that it’s the Cargo area of the Cruise, and gladly came with other crew members to check on the noise. It was 1am in the night and me, agnel and lokesh alongwith the patrol officer were in the cargo area which was dark as night, until suddenly

one of the crew member put on the lights and we were blinded for a moment. Our eyes adjusted to the bright light in the Cargo area, and were searching for the source of noise, but it was silent as if we could hear a Pin drop on the floor. After enough searching, they concluded that it might be wind or something, which might have made the noise. I came across Saiyan’s Suitcase, it was huge and felt as if he had brought a whole laboratory with him in that suitcase. We went to our rooms for a good night sleep, subsequent to the search. Tonight there was no noise from Saiyan’s Room, wonder what he was upto?

Next Day Morning 12th November 2009, Thursday, as usual we were having our breakfast, Knoughty was searching for some bottle of Peach Juice, Medpal was describing how he operated Hernia on a VIP in his city. Aero was discussing her experiences with Blade. Brunnie was guiding Agnel, Ryan and Lokesh about how to move ahead in life, her plans and ambitions. Bluffy was making Safin understand on why to give him access to SB Admin Login and let him create groups We were all cherishing the food in front of us, until a sudden silence took over the breakfast room. Saiyan had entered the room. It was the first time after the start of cruise, that I saw him. He was provided the best view and seat in the room. The waiters rushed to his service leaving our tables almost unclean. I had a hunch, that he would be famous, but richness I was not aware about. He had 4 rings in both of his hands; all were sparkling in different color. Yamaraj was not to be seen in the morning, as usual. I started to wonder if that noise of yesterday night was coming from Saiyan’s cargo shipment or not? But my guess was as good as anybody else’s. Soon he left and we were lost in the noise of people chatting.

We roamed around the ship again, and as usual the girls went to their room to rest. Boys hanged around the pool. I laid lazily on the poolside chair and watched everyone play in the pool. Suddenly out of nowhere two hands clutched me from behind and while tearing the chair apart, dragged me towards the cargo area, I was shouting for help, but no one was around, I tried desperately to look backwards on who is dragging me, but to no effort. I was been dragged through the stairs until the hands left me. My head was reeling from the aftereffect. It was bleeding like Niagara Falls. I got up and held my head tight to find myself in the cargo area of the cruise. But it was not the same cargo area we searched last night. The area was covered in blood, and human body parts were lying around the area. The stench of it was unbearable, so I tore my vest and wrapped it around my nose. I could not believe on what I was seeing in front of my eyes. A very beautiful lady standing at the end of corridor, I began to walk towards it, until I reached the sublime figure. Her face was covered with her hair and I could not make out who she was and what she wanted from me? The sudden fear took over me, as she touched my face with her pointed nails, she worked herself onto my stomach area and all of a sudden she started shredding my stomach apart. My intestines were flying around and I could not even stop her due to fear, I was helpless. I fell on my back towards the floor, she was laughing like a witch….eeeee hi hi hi hi hi hi……I couldn’t understand why did she do this to me, she came closer to my face, almost breathing in to my face, I could smell her wretched breath. I lost all my senses she brushed aside her hair from her face and started saying, “Will u now call me Baby, say will you?” I moved my hands to clear the blood from my eyes to see her face, it was “Brunnie”, she was dancing on my chest, my body started shaking, which was…

Agnel shaking me and asking me to join the game of water polo in the pool. I was all sweaty, I looked around I was still on the chair, poolside. I was terrified with what I saw I could not share my dream with anybody there.

The day passed by with us again hanging on the Upper Deck for the game of Antakshari. It was almost 12am midnight, start of a new day 13th November 2009, Friday. Aero had gone to take a blanket for Brunnie and HC. We heard her scream and suddenly ran to her lobby, there she was shouting, pointing at a figure hanging in middle of the room. It was Medpal’s dead body hooked onto the chandelier of the lobby. We all were aghast looking at the dead body of our beloved friend, hanging like a piece of cloth on a hook. I immediately called upon the patrolling officer. We took the girls out of that lobby and kept them on the upper deck to calm them down, but the scenario was still fresh in our minds, and we were completely dejected on losing one of our FE Family member. In that whole incident, I noticed Yamaraj and Sandeep were nowhere to be seen. Suddenly there was another scream from far end of the Deck, me and Safin rushed to the scream followed by the Crew Members. There was another dead body hanging from the hoist of the Cruise’s flag pole. It was of a lady. Her Body was ripped wide open, by some kind of beast. The intestines and organs were missing from their places in body, because they were lying on the floor below. Safin asked the captain to inform the upcoming docks about these incidents and sail it to the nearest dock. Captain informed the upcoming dock, but said it was more 600 to 700kms away from here. It may take around 21hrs to reach the dock. I checked my watch; it was 3:05am. That means we will reach on 14th November approx 12am. We had to stay on the deck for a whole single day. The idea of Friday the 13th struck to me. I couldn’t understand why it had to happen on our Cruise, that too on very ill-fated day. We ran again back to place where we left our friends. As we reached there, bluffy informed us that girls have gone near poolside along with other boys.

After speaking with bluffy, I took off towards my room to check the lobby if it was safe or not. As I was nearing my room, I found that Saiyan’s room was open. I peeked inside the room to have a look around on what were the noises that night all about, but to my surprise the room was completely empty. I entered inside the room to check on if he might have left something behind. Any clue on what he was doing inside his room. I was curious to know about it. I searched the dressing table, drawers, mirrors, under the bed, closets but it was fruitless. I again heard some screams from above, but ignored it as my eyes went towards a button inside the closet. I pressed the button and the backside of the closet was turned into a Door towards another area. I entered carefully, as the path ahead was dark. I took out my Omnia (mobile) and called Blade to join me. He arrived to Saiyan’s room and I started the flashlight and used it as a torch to find our way. As soon as we were on the pathway, the door closed behind us, locking us into the dark area. We put up the courage and took the current path towards a hallway, where some noises of some one talking was being heard. We pushed ourselves behind a box, to be hidden and listen to their conversation. A man was speaking on a mobile “the experiment is success till now, but we have to keep under observation until it matures. It will take another 15hrs to mature into its next phase.” I peeked to see, where the voice was coming from, its back was towards me, but from the shape, I could make out it was Saiyan. He was laughing ferociously over the phone. I gulped and thought of how to know more about his and his plans. We kept ourselves hidden from his view and followed him till the end of the hallway. He then entered another room, further ahead. We followed his path and entered that room; I was amazed to know that I had entered the Cargo area of the ship. By that time we heard another scream from above; we both exchanged worried looks to each other as we didn’t know what was going above and were worried about my friends. But we had another task in front of us. I wanted to know, what was Saiyan up to and was he related to death of those people above? Is yamaraj also involved in Saiyan’s evil plans?

At last Saiyan stood still in front of a large package; he assured nobody is around and opened the package. The package adjusted itself a bit and opened up like it was a Sci-Fi movie. It was like a mini laboratory after it completely opening. Saiyan was mixing some of his chemicals and recording the results onto his iphone. Suddenly he started to shake, uncontrollably and began to slow jog on that spot itself. He kept the test tubes on the table and went to toilet . I was curious to know what he was mixing, so we went near the table and looked at the labels of the mixtures. We didn’t know the head n tail of Chemical analogy. I looked for some place else on his table, I found a report on Genetic Modification. I was going through the report, there was a mention of some human experiments which were unsuccessful and after many trials; the experiments were showing some positive results. Current test subject was the next category, as I was about to turn that page, “so… at last u found out” a voice from my behind. It was Saiyan

We were totally struck by the heavy voice of him addressing us. I was sweating very badly and felt the chill of his cold voice over my shoulder. He rested his hands on my back and turned me to face him. His face had several cut marks on it. It was like massive surgery gone haywire. “So u found out what I am upto?” he continued, “It was very unlucky of you both that you had to find out about my experiments on Human” We nodded to know the whole truth from himself, as he was not aware that I haven’t reached the page of his experiments. He started “I am working on genetic modification of human DNA, to make them more powerful weaponry than missiles & armory. It was last week only that I found partial success to the modification; it happened as a gentle man introduced himself while I was boarding the cruise. I can’t remember his name, but he said he can help me with the research, if he is paid well.” I was wondering if it was Yamaraj, as he was suspiciously missing since the incident. He continued “he was ready for genetic modification experiment for the price I offered him. At first the chemicals were not providing any reaction to his body, thus it was unsuccessful, it was first night on the cruise that he reacted to some chemicals, which burned his skin.” I remembered that night, me and blade heard the shriek from saiyan’s room. “But the formula which I found partial success in; was not effective, so had to experiment again the next night. But since that night after I have not seen him and he’s nowhere to be seen in your group too.”

We were shocked to hear that, from our group who was it, who took the experiment, could it be Yamaraj or someone else, but he was last seen yesterday night I tried to link the pieces together and my doubts were pointing towards Yamaraj, as he was not getting up early, he didn’t join us near pool etc. Blade asked Saiyan about incidents on the above deck, is he related to it, in some way or the other? He had no clue about it I told Saiyan to wait where he is till the time I call for someone to keep us safe, as I left the cargo area, I heard a big THUD in the area. I was freaked out, I peeked slowly from the corner of the hallway and cargo door, I saw a 6 feet tall person walking towards Saiyan and Blade, I couldn’t see his face, but he was growling in pain “It’s your fault!!! Look at me, what have you done to me?” The figure was getting bigger as he walked towards Saiyan, I didn’t know what to do; I forced my hands on my mouth as not to scream out of fear. The figure lifted Saiyan like a doll, and tore him apart from the middle; the blood was splattered all over the area. I could not believe what I just saw; it was the most horrific scene in my life. I was shaking and was losing all hope of getting saved by anyone. Blade was horrified and in the fear ran towards the entrance from where we entered the cargo area. But the figure was too fast for him. Blade was cornered, by that beast. All of a sudden, my eyes went towards a Fire Extinguisher. I rushed towards it and started firing on the beast. He was stunned from my attack from behind but for few moments, those moments were needed for me to join blade in running towards our entrance point.

Just then the other Upper deck Cargo entrance opened and in came the patrol officers, the figure was running towards us, as that was the only door left for it to escape. We started to run for our lives, from hallway to the pathway, from pathway to the closet of Saiyan’s room, I ran non stop till we reached our room. We heard those footsteps, which were coming from Saiyan’s room. It were his footsteps, it was as if he knew where we are. He came out in the lobby area and stood outside our room. We were hiding under the bed, shaking immensely with fear of getting torn apart. The figure eventually started banging our door with his bare hands. I slowly gathered courage, and came out from under the bed. I peeked from the keyhole to see if anyone was outside. After confirming, I slowly opened the door and check for any living being present in the lobby. We made a Mad Dash for the Upper Deck where everyone was holding up. As soon as I saw Yamaraj, I was relieved for a brief moment, but the thought of him being the human experiment crossed my mind. I asked him, where was he during all this, he said he was into some kind of work, but didn’t mentioned his exact nature of work or location. I grilled him about his whereabouts, but he didn’t answer satisfactorily. I checked my watch the time was 6pm. My God! The whole day passed by under the deck and I was not even aware what was happening above the deck. The Whole Deck was full of people travelling and trying to escape via small boats, it was utter chaos. I recollected the scenes from titanic, just instead of ship going down, human life was getting slaughtered. I was clueless about whom that person would be, I remembered I had that report with me in my back pocket, as I was reaching for it, a scream from poolside grabbed our attention.

We ran towards pool, I recollected bluffy mentioning that they were all near poolside, and another question appeared in my mind, it shouldn’t be one of my friend as we reached the poolside, aero told me that they saw a monster on the lower deck, who was killing people left right. Me and Yammy ran towards lower deck, as we reached there, and I saw that monster, I was confirmed it was not Yammy, then who is it? The question was spiraling in my head and I stood there for one second deep in my thoughts, and I was suddenly pushed aside by Yammy, as that monster just took a swipe just missing me by narrow margin. Fear and sweat took over me, as I saw that monster, he was around 6-7 feet tall, and he was transforming gradually and was now covered with all gooey stuff as he was a statue of melted wax. His body was covered in red color all with the blood of innocent people he slaughtered. His path was laid with several decapitated dead bodies. He had to be the ugliest creature I have seen in this world or in movies at least. His face was barely recognizable, but I tried poking him with every thing which I found on the way, which made him angrier.

Yamaraj fired 3 shots from his handgun, but to no avail, the monster was hell bent on tearing us limb by limb. I was surprised as Yammy never told us that he carries a Gun with him We moved towards the upper deck, he followed us till the end of the cruise and that was the only moment we had to make him stop. Everyone saw me and yamaraj fending off the monster towards the end of deck. On his way to reach us he had killed several innocent people. Yammy fired all the shots on him. The monster grabbed Yammy and threw him on the flag pole. With Yammy gone, I was the alone person cornered by that monster. Agnel and bluffy grasped whatever they got their hands on and started pelting it towards that monster. That made the monster set off after both of them. His chase didn’t last long, as Ryan tripped him by putting a table between him. Girls suggested tying him up by throwing the rope around his neck, but it was too thick to get around. Ryan suggested we trip him over into the sea, and they had to act quickly. Ryan though fear in his mind, build the courage & diverted the attention of the monster again. Agnel and bluffy kept the rope tied from one end to other end. The monster got aggrieved and ran to chase Ryan and eventually tripped over the rope and into the Sea. We were relieved at that moment as we saw him falling over the fencing of the ship. We all went over the spot where he fell down. We all celebrated each other over the fight against that monster.

As I turned around away from the fence, I felt a sudden jolt and fell face first on the deck. My legs were being pulled from behind and I was dragged towards the sea and eventually losing my consciousness.

When I retuned from nothingness I was on a bed, nursed by a sexy lady nurse I asked her where am I? She replied “don’t worry you are into safe hands.” I left my worries to that sexy nurse and took the medicine. The last I remember being on the cruise, the nurse said that we had landed safely on the dock prior to Thailand. I asked her about my pocket contents, she handed over me the contents like wallet, handkerchief, but I was looking for something else, the report. Aah! There it is, I quickly turned to page where it was mentioned current test subject, the two pages were filled with all the usual stuff of contract an nothing else after 2 pages, what I read was a SHOCKER
