Afridi declines Tsmanian offer!

Pakistan allrounder Shahid Afridi has turned down an offer to represent Tasmania this season because he wants to focus on his team's forthcoming tour of Australia.

Last season Umer Gul and Younus Khan represented for teams in Australian domestic titles!

It would've been a good move for Tasmania, but you can't fault his reasoning........... Personally, I'm all for players from the sub-continent signing on to play domestic cricket downunder.... it helps our boys get to know other players of the great game, away from the field and the pressures of a tournament and it also exposes both sides to differing styles of play, which in turn develops skillsets for all concerned...

Well I heard that Afridi was offered the international play for Australia when he was just 19....2 yrs since he started for Pakistan's international team
I don't know that its true or not can one switch international teams
