> Agarkar out of South Africa series

It looks like agarkar is a goner for the rest of the SA series.
In todays 20/20 match agarkar has torn his groin muscle and depending on the seriousness of the injury he might be out of action for a couple of months.

More details as they emerge.

He was already left out of the test squad, IIRC.

So he is just missing out on the last ODI, no probs but getting back into the team would be a struggle in itself.

Pathan knows how to bat as well.....he totally deserves to be in the team....

He isnt bowling as well nowadays thanks to Chappal...

nikhil i agree...but agarkar too has the fastest 50 by an indian record plus have a single test century too..than why was he dropped being in best form during west indies tour..........

if pathan is there to bat......than i dont think kaif shd make a comebak.....kartik being a wicketkeeper..is showing gr8 skills now and also proving with bat..soi think game end for him.......

regarding munaf patel..though guy looks godd inline and length,...but the way he present himself in feild looks a total looser..always shirt out..showing dejected body language........i dont like to c him bowl even if he bowls maiden in odi........

also i guess harbajan needs rest till feb atlest..cmmon giv kumble chance..he will only b usefull in west indies..........
and yup zaheer entry is gr8 asset...i feel even nehra shd b given chance..as both zaheer nehra combine will rok.....dont know how this vrv singh gets into team every next day..damn he played 2 odi for india......shaaa....his economy is 8.75 and i guess no wicket yet...wht rubbish goin on b4 wc

VRV bowled crap I agree...but he is touted as the fastest bowler in India...

fastest bowler in india.......12 overs 105 no wicket........this is wht the fastest bowler produce.........i think in wht we r strong we shd stick to it......thats spin.........istill think harbajan is not the ideal replacment for anil..........
we need somone who shd go above kumble.......of shane warne and murlidharan level

And abt VRV...He got caught in a Peterson rampage...Hope he improves and lets his nerves settle this time...His avg on benign tracks in India is below 25...Thats commendable...Has a reputation in domestic cricket and hurt quite a few bastmen...people actually are wary of him...
