The big 3 of the Indian cricket are on their way out!

Thats what the selectors of India are deciding and will implement in the team selection for the rest of Australia series. Thinking doing the rounds of BCCI circles is that there will be a rotation put in place with atmost 2 out of the 3 shining stars of Indian cricket in the Indian team on any given day. The reason being put forward is that the three are past their prime and cannot take the hectic demands that world cricket is putting on the players.

What this basically means is that for the first time atleast in Dravid and Sachins case(not in Souravs case thanks to Greg), they will be sitting out of a ODI and Test inspite of being fit and available for selection.

Good thing or bad, Indian cricket is moving on. Remains to be seen if the newer breed can win matches on their own and not just remain a good bunch of sloggers.

Frankly Sachins lackluster ODI innings hasn't helped his cause else he was the one guy who would have been toughest to remove. The rest two are "expendable"

If you ask me if i would want to be Gilly in Aussie or Sachin for india, i would be Gilly.
