Coach is not here to make your team win - in that case coaches should be sacked after every match - they only impart skills - its for the Team to perform. Whether they win or not is dependent on many variables.

What makes you think he has only Bats in his kit bag yours is assumption, he is giving it all at bowling but it is not doing him any good at the moment - he is not Mcgrath who is going to wake up everyday and keep bowling that immaculate line and length - we need to stick with him because we see that latent potential in him. In the meantime, if he can bat at no3 and get runs, why not give him the chance and whats the harm in it - its not like when you hold a bat - you would forget how to hold the bowl. And if you would have noticed - Irfan insists on not being called a all rounder, he says he is here to bowl and thats what he is in the team for.

4. Laxman for one days is not on par with Sehwag. So no comparo needed on that. Test match - ofcourse is should find a spot in our team. Dada

6. Flexibility means having a pool of 20-25 players who can be called upon to play at Coach's beck & call. But those players can only be molded by giving them regular games and not by sending them in intervals with drinks. Real match experience is very important - no of hours in a international game do add up - to achieve this some chopping changing is req whether we/you like it or not.

Some players are tigers at domestic level but fail to perform at international level.

7. Dada

hey where is the i dont know option. since i didnt find that option i have gone with the horrible..

1) absolutely and a loss is a loss there cannot be any excuses like rain and all.

2)Seriously Greg chappell is the one coach who has had the maximum say in Indian selection period. He got even the most successful captain of the team kicked out. Well and if he is still not happy, some people will grumble irrespective of what you give them.

3) Irfan pathan was a superb baller 2 years back. He has just gone down and down and the only thing thats changed is the coach and the captain. He was always a good batsman btw, even during dada's time. So the present management can't take the credit for that.

5) the way they pulled raina and mongia out to replace dada, imo they can pull a lot of others also, can't they?

6) flexibility is not = bench strength. In latter we suck big time even now. In former the team is sucking cos of the chopping around.

6. Ofcourse not - but to groom whatever bench strength you have you need to give them games. Otherwise, that bench strength would literally mean folks strengthening the bench by occupying it. So by showing flexibility you are paving the way for improved bench strength
