More than being raw and fiery(and unpredictable), he has to calm and composed (and be more reliable)! And he is getting there before his retirement! The right thing to do for any world class batsman.

Sachin still hasnt lost his touch....anyways...if he's not performing, what are the other members in the team doing???

Isn't it their duty, if one falters, the other should rise???

^^ That argument doesn't hold in actual world. When you set a high standard, people look at you. If he get out, mentally everyone gets tense. Cricket is at the end of the day as much mental as its a physical game and Sachin playing or not playing matters big deal After all Sourav won most of the matches captain by playing mental games

Anyway its best for India if Tendu also takes a leave from the next ODI series. No need to retire but if he continues to play, we will just keep depending on him now that the other two guru's are out too and once he goes, there will be a bigger void. Better now when there is a reassurance that he can come back if we play badly.
