Steps to be followed for finding the national coach for the cricket team.
1) Say the outgoing coach was a genius and offer him a chairman role in some sister organization. (even if he has neither the capability or any interest in the job)
2) Form a committee to select the coach
3) Over ride the committee by getting the president of the board to already declare his preferences even before the committee has met.
4) Leak news in the media over who will be selected, stressing that the his selection is now merely a formality
5) Have junket visits abroad to meet the "Almost certain choice of Indian team coach" while stressing that this is to know him better.
6) Get the "almost certain coach" to be interviewed and state his views on each and every player on national TV even though he is still technically the coach of opposing side
6) Decide on the date and venue for a final committee meeting. The hotel should be 5 or preferably 7 star.
7) Do a complete volte face there. This is going way too easy. (At this rate how can the committee enjoy the super hotel treatment much longer?)
8) The very people who said the "almost certain coach" was a certainty now say hje is not in the list even

. The media will be dumbfounded, but the committee members are delighted.
9) Propose names of players who have had not even been contacted for the role of coach. Even better, cite names of past players who have had no coaching experience even.
10) Invite or better organize another junket for the purpose of "interviewing" these candidates.
11) Build up a bit of hype about the least expereinced candidate. Say less expereince combined with super expereinced deadly Indian team will do wonders.
~~~Till now everything has already happened. Now what?
12) Reject all candidates after 1 month, Say Mohindar Amarnath was always the choice
13) After 2 failed series, start the process again
Can anyone do it better??
