News Ford turns down India job

The BCCI's shambolic efforts to find a national coach took an embarrassing turn today when it was revealed that Graham Ford, the former South African coach who's now director of coaching at Kent County Cricket Club, had turned down the offer to coach the national side. Ford had been chosen last Saturday after a seven-man committee listened to presentations from him and John Emburey, the other candidate to be invited to the meeting in Chennai.

the circus continues and there is even more reason to dine in 7 star hotels.

we should make maninder singh a coach of indian cricket team : one who does not know batting, does take drugs and then tries to commit ssuicides. will help poor chap who are not selected to be out of the way of selectors.

see i have know the pulse of Indian cricket allright, although the BCCI went a little better. Ford has made the job even easier now bcci won't have to wait 1 month for the next junket

But now after reading a bit more abt him, I am happy he rejected the job.

He supposedly left the position of SA coach because of racist issues.

I shudder to think what would happen if he had come to coach a BROWN team with that attitude.
