I dont understand..some greenest of players yet to grow a moustache are being picked over a player who successfully played hundreds of ODIs..
even when they are not being able to perform and the latter is performing well at home... ..

It has deeper meaning though 'Dead as a Dodo' = 'Dada is Deado'

Dada sucks... big time.... since his ouster from the Indian team, he has performed miserably in all the first class matches (all the while his supporters were demanding his return). Now, in the past few matched, he scored a couple of times, so they put him back in? That too in SA, a place where Ganguly has not been the most successful of batsmen (if this were England I would have included him blindly)?

when mr tendu was out after the tennis elbow and he played in 1-2 ranji, he had even worse performance.
as far as dada goes, he has been taking wickets regularly too. His performance has not been bad.

You cannot apply different yardsticks to different people. Since you have set a trend for some guys, stick to that for all.
