Thumbs Up Golden Moments : Anil Kumble's 10 wickets in a single Test Innings !!!
On 8th February 1999, History was created at d Feorzeshah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi when One of Inida's Greatest Spinners Anil Kumble became only d Second Bowler ever (the other being Jim Laker(England)) to have taken all 10 wickets in a Test innings .......
Anil Kumble achieved this feat against Pakistan in the second Test played at d Feorzeshah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi and leading India to Victory by very huge margin of 212 runs ....

Anil though missed another achievement by failing to dismiss Pakistani fast Bowler Waqar Younis in either of d two innings....By not being able to get Waqar out , he missed out on the achievement of dismissing all 11 batsmen in a Test match ....

It has been said that once he got 9 wickets; his friend and teammate Javagal Srinath tried not to take a wicket so Kumble could take 10th. This achievement was commemorated by naming a traffic circle in Bangalore after Anil Kumble.....

I got a pic depicting all d 10 wickets taken by Anil Kumble ...so thought of sharing dis piece of History....

aah those were the good days
that match was superb, actually wasim akram later said that they were trying all out not to get out to Kumble and Srinath actually bowled wide deliveries so that he didn't take any wicket
