"You are a scared fellow, rabbit. I will get you next ball": Nel

On His Arrival at Mumbai Airport
Kerala Express Sreesanth revealed the story behind the famous impromptu dance after he had hit Andre Nel for a six during the first Test in Johannesburg....
About his impromptu dance after belting fast bowler Andre Nel for a six in the first Test in Johannesburg, Sreesanth said:
"It just happened. I myself wondered when I saw it (later on tv). My brother and friends had emailed me about it''
Recalling the incident, Sreesanth said:
" As soon as I walked in to bat, Nel said 'I can smell blood. You do not have the guts.'showing his emblem on the shirt, Nel said 'I am playing for this. You are a scared fellow, rabbit. I will get you next ball'.
"Before delivering the next ball, Nel had also asked wicket-keeper Mark Boucher to stay back and had also moved the short-leg fielder.I being a fast bowler myself, knew Nel was going to bowl a bouncer.I just took my chance and prayed to god. I stepped out to connect the ball which flew over the ropes''
The 23-year-old bowler said he was very lucky to get some valuable tips from great fast bowlers like Pakistan's Wasim Akram and South African Allan Donald during the tour. The seamer said he had also spoken to former India captains Sunil Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri and West Indies paceman Ian Bishop and gained valuable tips.
On his aggressive attitude while bowling, Sreesanth said his coach Greg Chappell had advised him "to be an Aussie in mind and Indian by heart".
Sreesanth felicitated
Sreesanth was honourned by Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) for his fine performance in South Africa. He was presented with a memento and a cash award of Rs one lakh.
Kerala Cricket Association, President S K Nair said Sreesanth's impressive performance has brought glory for the state.

Aah, so Greg does pass on some words of wisdom Sound Advise.
I like Sreesanth's attitude - there is no need to tone it down. Time to repay back some abuses with interest ofcourse, that is - as and when we are winning.
Not much to throw at when we are on a losing streak

foolish advice, its not as if aussies are aggressive from birth. He could have just told him to be aggressive. Problem with indians is
1) we think that others do things better than us
2) we need to do things only when someone else tells them(someone else being a westerner)

So true !! Ganguly was also aggressive.... and I dont think he was trained by Greg
And whoever tells Sreesanth to tone down should be clubbed
If Australians and South Africans and even Pakistanis for god's sake !! can be aggressive, why not Indians ??

we have to live upto gandhigiri thats why....some stupid concept thats ruining the nation...

totally agree with you on that!!
There is nothing wrong in being aggressive....seriously who would like to called a rabbit and then be hit on the head?? i say we keep giving the aussies n south africans a taste of their own medicine
And aggression was one of the reasons why DADA was such a successful captain
