ICC bowles googly to BCCI, NIKE : Rejects nwtea dress
Just a day after the new attire of the Indian Cricket team designed by NIKE was unveiled with much funfare, BCCI was bowled over by the ICC googly.
ICC in a statement said that : Any team participating in 2007 world cup will have to wear preapproved ICC dress. So indian team will have to wait till bangladesh series after worldcup to wear the new dress.
BCCI representative Ratnakar Shetty said :
"Players can only wear clothing approved by the ICC at the World Cup," "The ICC clothing will be more or less similar in colour and other aspects to what was displayed on Monday."

Guys, i read from DC they will wear the same dress that we saw the other day, with the Sponser name on the sleeves.

seems BCCI jumped the gun and displayed the dress as world cup dress while they should have said it to be the new team dress.
The world cup dress would be almost same except ICC WORLD CUP logo on leading arm and chest. most probably NIKE log would have to be readjusted or taken off.

New dress to stay for the world cup with logo position changes. everything else remains the same.
The launching of India's new kit just weeks before the tournament has sparked off some confusion over whether India will actually be wearing these colours in the forthcoming World Cup or not. To cut a long story short: the kit that India will be wearing in the World Cup will be identical to the one that was launched yesterday, in every aspect other than the placement of the various logos on the shirt.
In ICC events, such as the World Cup and the Champions Trophy, the kits of all teams bear the tournament logo and branding on the chest. This means that, in India's case, the Sahara logo, which is currently on the front of the shirt, will go to the leading arm, and the Nike logo, which is on the right side of the chest, will go to the non-leading arm. The logo of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, which is currently on the left side of the chest, will stay right where it is.
