Disappointed with my bangalore Team. Kallis is the only noticable player in the team that was picked yesterday. Chandrapaul too is fine, but Bangalore team is already looking weak on paper.

This whole thing is gonna fail badly, just like ICL.. Ppl want to watch international matches..not some city vs city match...no one has tht mu7ch time to bunk office and college to go and watch city matches..

Cricket is not Football... and while club >>> internationals in football, the same cannot be said about cricket..

BCCI is filling up its coffers fater than ever b4 by making fool of those rich idiots... i can only imagine what will be left with the owners after paying the cricketing star's enormous bills, and paying bcci a good percentage of the collection... advertising and promotion is their only means to gain something for themselves. But it remains to be seen if the advertisers wud be willing to shell out millions for some stupid city match..

BCCI has seriously done a 'Heads i win, tails u lose' with those obscenely rich freaks. Time will come and they'll understand.

but few international stars got less than they deserve because of their uncertainty of participation in this years edition, most notably ponting. May be symonds got more as franchisee could be aware of him bunking the pakistan tour.

this amount is for 3 years, in between during transfer windows players can be traded.

the way media hype is generated i am sure for the first year atleast it will be worth watchin.

the way prize money is being declared i dont think it will go dwon the drain like club football this may also become a grand success.

only blip i see is the broadcaster had it been ESPN-STAR i would have loved to catch on 8pm matches.
