Jadeja alleges racism in SRK's Knight Riders team

Former Test cricketer Ajay Jadeja made a sensational claim on Monday, claiming Indian players were being ill-treated by foreign staff of the beleaguered Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League, currently on in South Africa.

Jadeja hinted that a member of the KKR foreign coaching staff used racial overtones while speaking with an Indian player during the tournament. "You don't need blogger (to know this)," he said in an apparent reference to the 'FakeIPLplayer' blogsite.

"I can assure you that there is definitely a divide and Indian players are (being) treated very badly." Jadeja told an English news channel in a programme.

"I am an Indian player. I know so many players in the team (Kolkata Knight Riders Team). One player was asked to come off the field and when he came off the field he asked "Why did you want me to come off the field? One of the coaches in KKR says 'You Indian, you do what I ask you to do'," he said.

Jadeja insisted his claims were true, saying he had the information “from horse’s mouth” and that the team was a divided house.

"So there is definitely a divide. I know it from the source himself. So the players are not feeling comfortable. There is divide between Indian and foreign player and there is a divide between thought process. I mean Sourav Ganguly has a different thought process and you can see that. So this team is divided. There is no doubt about it," he added.

The KKR team is dealing with controversies way before the start of the tournament when their coach John Buchanan proposed the multiple-captain theory. They have lost eight of their 10 matches so far. The one match they won was where they triumphed via Duckworth-Lewis method.

There is also a tell-all blog on team's activities, although the authenticity of the blog is still in doubt.

On the topic. I am more than inclined to believe that Australian coaches are just not suitable for India. Especially when the captain of India or of that IPL team is a no-nonsense guy who can stand up to crap. Number of commentators have said that the so called golden era of Australia under Buchanan had everything to do with the good form of its team and due to Mc and Warne more than anyone else. As soon as they left, Australia is just naother team now. They can be beaten, regularly!

So to say Buchanan and so called Australian "support staff" of are game changers is a huge hyperbole. To have him continue with KKR was the biggest mistake especially after his "multiple captaincy" crap he threw just before this tournament. Sunil Gavaskar rightly advised SRK to not fall for "Bhookha Naan" but he didn't listen.

Bhookha is now desperate and all this racism crap is not necessarily racism but desperation showing. Its his idiotic ideas that have failed and thats why KKR are in a soup. Sure the players have played badly too and they have been hurt by not many frontline players being with the KKR side, but the main culprit for the uncertainty is the management and their pedestrian policies and thinking

Well KKR are gone this season but for sure the moron at the helm will be gone too. That will be the best thing that could happen to KKR.

Late last night, we were asked uh..actually requested... to assemble. All the Phoren Babas were there too. And they all spoke about how highly they regard India and India's culture. They apologised for anything that may have been said in the heat of the moment. They said that they didn't mean any harm and had nothing but absolute respect for everyone in the team. You know what, most of the Phoren Babas are nice and friendly. It's just a small, tiny group that sucks. Unfortunately, they stick to Bhookha like some strange extensions of his male anatomy, and hence are very influential in the scheme of things. Btw, Dildo is in touch with Slimeball on the issue and there's an attempt to hush up the matter.

Dildo has finally realised that changing (and then re-changing) the name on the advice of a famous bollywood numerologist is not enough to win the IPL. For that, you need a team of players. So, the inevitable will happen almost as soon as we return. Heads are certain to roll, irrespective of what's being said in the press. The directive has come right from the top.

That doesnt change a thing about him,either.

Forget IPL (and the teams you might be supporting),but, even during international matches involving India and other teams,on numerous occasions, you have openly expressed your happiness on sachin getting out,and ridiculing him for his 'incompetence' on shoutbox and in the threads..

They are based on facts and certainly not opinions as you have. Never have i said that he is all that you have said.
Sachin is not a leader. That's clear to everyone. I still say that. Dada is a leader and Sachin isn't. Heck he was kicked out as a captain within a year, has a terrible record.

Abhi i dont have proof...cos we had this discussion on SB.But i remember pretty well during the Indo Aussie series, when sachin had come out to play, and you were like,"Sachin should get out..

" And when he did, you were so happy..

Yeah,maybe..but where he looses as a captain, he more than makes up as a batsman.Something for which he is sent on the pitch.To perform.

What good is a leader who fires from his bat,once in a blue moon (and that too when he was supposedly a good batsman)..

Selfish fella..he only plays for himself.He slows down when he is nearing a 50 or a hundred (as rare as those milestones are for him,these days)..To hell with the team, bhaisahab is worried about his half century. We have seen that happen just a few days back in IPL,as well.

There was a time when people used to call Sachin selfish.But you can check the stats..So many times he has gotten out playing those big shots in his 90s. Probably he has the highest record of getting out in the 90s now. The guy atleast tries to keep up the pace of the scoring according to the need of the hour, and not worry about his own individual score.

He is not selfish,unlike ur dada..
