After 1st day, the story is as usual. The openers failed. (Jaffer made 2, Sehwag decided to hit himself out and got out on 40) Gautam Gambhir surprizingly made a good 79 before he was retired hurt. As expected Sourav stands tall at the end of the day with 41 not out. Dada is really determined this time

So if the match is any indication, i reckon jaffer is out of second test and gambhir will get a look in.

i hardly think thats anything he should be proud of. The point is he is not doing well in what he should be doing well in and thats bowling.
thats the problem, we have lost our strike baller in all this fiasco.
