New Twist in the racism row in Australia. The harbhajan singh racism charge appeal is scheduled for tuesday.

The New Zealand judge who will hear Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh's appeal against his three-match ban for racism has said he may allow new evidence to presented at the hearing. And that new evidence is stump mic recording from the sydney test match.

"This will be a re-hearing with evidence given by all of the witnesses who gave evidence to the adjudicator Mr Procter," Hansen said in a statement.

"There may also be some additional evidence such as the transcript and video available from the stump cam that was not available to Mr Procter."

But the BCCi has come out strongly against this. Sharad Pawar in last few minutes has said that if the racism charge is not dropped, then the ODI series stands cancelled. Plus BCCI has refused any new evidence from being introduced in the hearing.

"The evidence could be tampered, it could be doctored. We wouldn't allow this so-called fresh evidence to surface after so many days," a highly placed Indian board official said.

Looks like there is gonna be some good off the field drama tomorrow. Brace yourselves

that itself is what the new evidence is supposed to be and the BCCI is saying that they do not want it.

In that its not clear if Bhajji actually said Monkey to him. Only Symonds has come on tape telling him"that you just called me a monkey"

Well the fact is am sure Bhajji did call him a monkey. But i am sure he didn't mean it in a racist way. Thats what the Aussies aren't understanding. On the other hand you pretty well know what sating a Bast*** means which i think should be treated as offensive.

He might have been saying "teri maa ki". They sound very very similar and tbose Monkeys might have heard it like he was saying the name of their species.

I am with the BCCI on this. To hell with the series if bhajji is banned for three tests cause if the aussies can't take it then they shouldn't be giving it in the first ****ing place .. mother ****ing ****ers.

Tht actually is what he said...its an oft used term in punjabi lingo...'maa ki'...and tht sounds like 'monkey' no doubt..

But if its proved tht he actually said 'maa ki', it wud really be hard to convince the aussies tht he didnt mean 'monkey' but a more terse, 'damn your mother's .......'

Tht wud be more offensive thn the simple 'monkey'....

How BCCI explains it to the Cricket Australia/ICC remains to be seen..
