The point is that royal challengers took not a ODI team but a test team and they are paying the price for it.

The point i am trying to make here is that it doesn't matter if a team has ODI specialists or test specialists , the fact that the so called "test players" are capable of power hitting is enough to warrant them a place in the side. In the end its the form factor that counts the most.

definitely a test team shouldnt be in the IPL

If they could, the 3 fellows would be in their national T20 sides and they aren't. What they could do in the past doesn't mean they can do now.
