Honestly SA has very limited chances in the subcontinent. I doubt they have any in tests. ODI it depends on the pitches and the venue. Last time i remember a seaming track was offered on Mohali which they loved. But this time we have seamers too.

In test matches though, unless the Indians do a hara kiri, they should win it quite comfortably.

^ It will certainly not be as easy as it looks. India have the edge but i have no doubt in my mind that SA will make india work hard in both test and ODIs. Moreover Indians haven't come out of their win in Australia. The positive thing is that the core of the test team has had enough rest and will be fresh for this series.

Kumble will surely be the key as far as Indians are concerned. I personally have no hopes with bhajji. I think going with piyush chawla as a second spinner would be a wiser option. The key will be how the SAs play Kumble. Having said that Robert Peterson has been in good form and can be more than handy on indian pitches.

Kallis will be the man to watch. He has always done well against us.

I think its will be close, but India will conquer in the end.

I'm inclined to go for India, right now the boys are in good form having beaten Australia, (who admittedly lost form at crucial moments, but that's beside the point, India came out to win and they did)....

South Africa on the other hand, well, who have they played? The West Indies, they're far from their glory days, New Zealand, always an on-again/off-again prospect, (as much as I hate to say it), Bangladesh, that was only a one dayer...

If the Indian players can keep a good consistency, (and not get involved in the ridiculous sledging that marred the entire Australia series, turning the game into a joke), then I think that they'll do it again and whip the Proteas...... Go India
