A Sad day for Indian cricket
Sony entertainment has bagged the exclusive rights for all matches to be played in NewZealand for the next 5 years for a sum of 50 million dollars
It replaces ESPN-Star which had till now the rights to cover all events in that country.
What this means is that one of the most beautiful series on the planet has been hit for a six and we will have to tolerate

Mandira Bedi and Shonali Nagrani again.(read we won't have to, we can switch off the TV sets

). But the sights and sounds of NewZealand that Espn presented so beautifully have been lost for the next 5 years.
This meanwhile comes close on heels of another disaster for world cricket with Ten Sports bagging the rights for South Africa matches for the next 6 years.
All in all, we are all set to see crappy cricket presentation again.
