Re: omg: Sehwag is back again
I just hope tht Dada will be able to cope Lee/Tait etc in Australia..!!
Regarding Sehwag...Good move..
We really need some good fasters... Sharma and Pathan..neither of them were crossing 130 today...

Re: omg: Sehwag is back again
If you would play 2 pace 2 spin attack in Australia ,then where on earth would u play 3 pacers?
My lineup would same that of agnel's.
Kumble did well in australia last, Bhajji didn't , Pathan as a third seamer would be a better option.

Re: omg: Sehwag is back again
I was flabergasted when i read it on tv flash news.
From where this guy came into reconing.
Karthik too survived due to his last innnings. I thought Parthiv Patel had good chance after excellent performance in last one year.
Dont even talk of Agarkar , remember his last sequence down under "BOMBAY DUCK".
For MCG we will need two spinners, so too for SCG while at Perth we will need more seamers.
But after looking at the performance of Aussie pacers against NZ in 20-20 i am sure Indians are going to face Rock Music. Brett Lee, Mitchel Johnson, Shaun Tait every one was firing good deliveries ine after another at increidble pace.
ps edit one interesting comment from a fan at cricinfo :
By selecting Sehwag, the Indian selectors have once again proved that: a) Performance doesn't matter b) There are different rules for different players c) For some bizarre reasons some players deserve endless chances, while others barely get a chance to prove themselves d) Being a team player isn't really smart d) Despite one of the Chappell brother's disastrous tenure as a coach, we continue to listen to them and not use our own minds and brains Nothing much has changed since Mohinder Amarnath called them a bunch of jokers. Tough to be an Indian cricket fan as ever.

Re: omg: Sehwag is back again
Are we playing at gabba this time?
Waca i remember is a fast bowlers paradise. Gabba is similar.
SCG has always favoured the spinners, atleast it has been the fav of Warne. Ditto about MCG, although i don't think its that much of a turner as compared to SCG.
I agree with doc on team composition. Playing 11 at gabba and waca, 2 fast, 1 spin; at MCG and SCG we need 2 spinners.
Although Sehwag has to bowl if he plays although i can't see who he will replace if he has to play. Unless someone is injured. Mind you i am not too sure about Yuvi/Dhoni. They are both susceptible to outside the off stump bowling. On a swinging pitch, i wanna see how they do.

So true !! Whoever posted that hit the nail on the head.
Look at Kaif. I think his fielding alone warrants a place in the ODI squad. and his batting isnt too bad. He doesnt get enough chances while Sehwag gets so many...

kaif? dude, go check how bad he has been performing over the past few months.. he doesn't deserve a place RIGHT NOW... but he is an amazing talent for sure.
I would love to have raina in the team for ODIs... he is the future... rocks!

yes, chapells future
Sehwag is and was probably the future too. Dunno what came over him.
The best thing is win the matches and stop worrying about the future cos as it is we are not going to do much about it.
