No guys..relax..he aint goin newhr.... he has said it himself tht he is not evn thinkin about retirement at the moment..its just some stupid site tht drew tht conclusion from his interview....N the current form tht he is in, i'm sure he still has 3-4 more years of good cricket to play for the country...

See, this is what Sachin can do to indian cricket..his being in the team is the biggest morale booster for the other players...ppl n the players wudnt care if Dada left the indian team any time.. but Sachin makes all the difference..only a phenomenon like Sachin can do that to a team...and its gonna be hard to find a replacement for Sachya....and all those ppl who think he is selfish for his records like the erstwhile sunil gavaskar, shud see the last few matches whr he missed his hundred by irritatingly small margins...he played big shots evn in the vulnerable 90s without caring for his hundred..usually others get cautious when they get newhr near the 100 mark... N in all these stints with the nineties, he had brought a win to india..n its not me who is saying tht..saw the stats on NDTV yesterday...so tht says all about his performance par excellence...

Sachya..thts the only good thing tht has happened to Indian cricket in decades...

Sachin doesn't need to do nautanki to hog the lime light..
Even if he gets common cold it becomes a front page news here. It was some marathi paper that had started these romours about his retirement...Isme sachin ka kya dosh

the news channels say tht the rumours originated after a cricinfo.com interview whr sachin said tht he was not getting enuf rest between matches...so those idiots concluded tht he was thinkin of retiring...

Accept it....if sachin is gone, the team's morale meter goes into the negatives..his playing a big part in the score is an instant inspiration for the batsmen who follow up after him...n in most cases, his big contributions to the score often have taken india all the way to a resounding win...
And the biggest thing of all, the respect tht he gets from fellow team members and spectators when he comes to the pitch to play...thts something dada can never achieve...
if saurav leaves the team today, hardly anyone in the team wud be affected.... ...he can never be the morale booster for the entire team like sachin... But evn a rumour tht sachin is gonna retire can do so much to the team and the public in general..u can judge tht from the news coverage yesterday...

Sachin is a phenomenon not only for India but the whole cricketing world....dravid is a very reliable player and is proving to be a worthy captain, as for Dada, all i can say is tht he was the rising star who stumbled n went right down the drain.... Right now, he is only trying to wipe the mud off his face...

As far as repect goes, dada ko jab bahar nikala country mein danga hone laga tha.Sourav has a lot of respect from his fans. You are obviously not one so you won't know
dravid a worthy captain.. thats sums up the post for me he is a average captain, in no league with Sourav. And Sourav is a performer. Not many can come back after what was done to him. He has not only come back, he has smashed his way in and is responsible for India's wins from that day on regularly.
