Sacrifice of a goat - Dhoni

I am not a PETA supporter but this is a most despicable act coming from none other than Mahender Singh Dhoni.

News Channels are reporting that Dhoni gave a goat's sacrifice today(with videos showing the pre sacrifice ceremonies with Dhoni taking part) as part of his thanksgiving prayers in a local temple.

I just think these type of things are avoidable even if they are local tradition. Even those who didn't know about it will now see it and people will just think that this is the thing to do to celebrate success. I didn't expect this from Dhoni.
