Being a true fan doesn't mean a blind fan.
There is no doubt about this. This is no defeat we are looking at, this is a collosal defeat. You cannot make it to 8 top teams in the world?? And then you expect no backlash?
I don't think you need to destroy their houses but if people are angry then they have a right to be angry.

I am a fan of cricket(irrespective of who i be on, i am not a blind supporter) but when they play badly they need to be told that they played badly.

Its all very well talking right now to get new blood, but there is no damn new blood. You can put them and then you are going to lose very regularly to Bangladesh. Can us Indians tolerate that?(some might say yes now but 2 months down the line, India vs Australia and you have some so called "young brigade" which flops, will you stand by them

Yeah. as i said, there are other ways in which you can punish the cricketers.
Anger, frustration, disapp, yes even i have. But it is not gonna help us in any way.

Bringing in new blood? They can rope in a few, but the tried and tested are the ones who will again top if they are sacked, they will surely force their way back into the team. One can't stop that.

But they can look for new players.
Its time they build a team placing more importance on

1. fielding
2. running between the wickets.
3. ppl who play for the team.

IMHO, kaif will surely be back. Irfan will be hav emore work to do.
New faces, piyush would come into the team.

Bhajji, sehwag would be dropped.
Tendulkar would be rested. But only he will know that he is dropped. Others would stay in the team.

But if they start to look beyond the 15, they might have another 5 players to fill in the shoes.

India has produced about 10-15 fast bowlers in the last 2- 3 years, not even 1 express bowler. Munaf is know to bowl at 145-150 at times, he is bowling line and length. But why not at that speed?

And indians should never again give into this talk of GREAT INDIAN BATTING LINE UP. it has never delivered when it really mattered. But i really wonder how the trinity scored 10k runs and india still doesn't have enuf to boast of a wonderful team and records?

I don't agree with u guys, we all know how australia does it.. I mean look at them they forced waugh brothers into retirement just to groom young blood, so was the case with hayden and gellispie, and they would do it for ponting if he fails in couple of matches. There should be some competition to get into the team and the inclusion should only be on the current form and not to one's past heroics, in india one is assured of his place if he scores a century against bermuda for atleast one more year. Cricket is evolving , but it is sad to say that we in asia still play it in old fashioned way.

India needs to improve its fielding. I saw the challen' series in chennai and fielding was remarkable in certain spots, but awful in certain areas.
Overall the future as far as fielding is concerned looks good.

One must not forget the chubby faced WK, parthiv patel.
he can make a very good bat, i mean opening bat. He needn't keep wickets.
