Simply bad luck for 'Indies, specially when they brought Bravo in to bowl right after he got away with that 'catch' of his from Yardy, lol. Both Strauss and Bell batted quite well for opening round, dissapointed at Collingwood for going out on duck, and I didn't expect much from Flintoff anyways, should've stuck with bowling. Michael Yardy got out, but wasn't really out, he needs another chance to prove his worth imo. And Pieterson ofcourse, definitely the man of the match.
They'll be definitely getting my cheers when they tour Australia, and now its onto India vs Australia for who will go onto the Semi-Finals tomorrow |

1. 30-45-Overs. Sehwag gave a magnificient start, and even slowed down and played maturely later on, but onwards Dravid and Kaif things went just a little too soft. If only they had realised it then playing it safe won't pay in the end.
And then ofcourse, you have them sending Raina instead of Dhon-Irfan-Bhajji. Bet they could've put on at least 20 more runs on the board which would've definitely boosted the the Indians bowlers even around the end. With 250, they slowed down Australia so they only finished up with 4-5 overs to spare. Now a difference of 20 runs would've made a difference.
2.The Indian opening bowling. Pathan and Patel were bad. They let the shell open.
Besides, that, Shreesanth was excellent, and so were the spinners, they played well and it was nicely planned by Dravid to slow them down.
Anyways, looking forward to the remaining ICC matches bnow, each one will be a guaranteed entertainer and the Ashes tour is gonna be the one to watch after ICC finals. |

If Vettori hadn't given up with that risky shot he got out on, I'm pretty sure NZ would have won.
I hope both NZ's batsmen and the entire Indian team is taking lessons, from both how New Zealand have played from being at 35/6 at one point, and how Australia have been performing as well.
Anyways, a must-see match tomorrow. | | |
