> Top 3 teams as of now?

So what are the top 3 cricket teams in your opinion based on present performance.

Here are mine
ODI
1) Australia - way way ahead of the pack
2) South Africa - very consistent performance
3) India/Sri Lanka - both are erratic like anything (wanted to put windies and pakis also)

Tests:
England - The best side lately. The whole team looks a "made for tests" team. Ashes is gonna be fun this time.
Australia - well since england does beat them regularly these days, a shade below them thus.
South Africa - Understated performance. They are very consistent and somehow the world ignores them

ODI only tests are boring nowadays

waise i agree without shoaib pak is a diff team, so with him India should play and then we will know which is a better side between the two.

@Safin'What hv Srilanka done off late...They are nowhere near the elite 3 as of now.

actually on current form they have done something(beaten England in England, while on current form India has lost to windies and not doing much in DLF cup)

They beat an england team that had at best was just half their real team...England barely managed to find 11 fit players on that tour.
Indias only dip was very recently and they will pick up again "Hopefully".

But what you said, then India has beaten an even worse english side and a out of form sri lanka side, drew with sa at home, won pakistan, and mauled in WI.So they aren't any better.
